Few interior design trends are as synonymous with the 2010s as the modern farmhouse look, with all-gray and all-white interior color palettes, and shiplap transforming walls throughout homes into rustic farm scenes. Many design professionals are now hoping this trend has peaked, and they are eager to see the farmhouse craze draw to a close. Sherwin-Williams surveyed 700 interior design professionals and found that while some of these recently popular design elements may continue to be used, others such as boho design, all-gray interiors, and shiplap could be left behind as we move into the 2020s.
