According to a recent article printed in Realtor Magazine, “borrowers who are unable to make their monthly mortgage payments due to COVID-19, also known as the coronavirus, have options to postpone payments.” The move has been made by the Federal Housing Finance Agency, which is offering forbearance options to those who are affected by the virus that is continuing to spread across the United States.

The assistance is not only for those who actually contract the virus, but also for anyone who faces a temporary hardship from it, such as a borrower who is quarantined and unable to work.
