One of the best ways you can support local business in your area is to continue patronizing them in any way you can. Purchase gift cards to be used at a later day, take advantage of curbside delivery and to-go options, and consider supporting funds for furloughed employees.

Another thing to keep in mind before you place an order thru a food delivery service such as GrubHub or Uber Eats – those vendors are a huge help to the industry as far as keeping business going. But, when you place an order through a third-party, they are entitled to some of the profit. Many of these restaurants are offering their own delivery service in a certain radius, so call first and check to see if you can order direct and let them keep the full payment for your meal. Also be sure to check each restaurant’s social media and websites for special promotions.
