It’s St. Patrick’s Day weekend in Atlanta, but there are also plenty of other fun events going on around the city!

Atlanta Kids Marathon

Head to Centennial Olympic Park Saturday morning, March 9th, for the Publix Atlanta Kids Marathon. Held at the same location where the 2020 Olympic Team Trials Marathon will take place, this race gives kids ages 14 & under the chance to see what it’s like to run in a big city marathon.

Atlanta Symphony Orchestra presents Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back in Concert

Listen as the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra performs the film score of Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back while the movie is screened in HD at Symphony Hall! This exciting event takes place at 7:30 on Friday and Saturday, March 15th and 16th.

Shakespeare Tavern presents Henry V

Follow along as Prince Hal becomes King Henry V. After making a claim on the French throne, Henry leads his Englishmen into battle, in Shakespeare’s most patriot play! The action takes place at 7:30 on Friday and Saturday, March 15th and 16th, and at 6:30 on Sunday, March 17th.

TEDx Atlanta

The 2019 edition of TEDx Atlanta features 21 speakers sharing their ideas and stories. This is an all-day event on Friday, March 15 at Georgia State’s Rialto Center for the Arts.

Nicholas was introduced to me by my builder as someone who could help me find a lot for a new construction home.Nicholas did a fantastic job and helped us secure an awesome lot for our build.There are a few things that really set Nicholas apart:1) He really knows the geography and the technical aspects of lot selection. We were looking around Chastain and he could tell me which lots have issues with drainage because of the water flow around the hills, and which lots would cause issues with house placement, etc. He was very familiar with the building code, set backs, etc. and the implications of those for whether it would support our plan.2) He understands the market and could advise us on how to build in a way that would create value. He was able to credibly advise on house valuations in the area and channel that insight into how much to spend on the lot. He was also able to leverage this insight to advise us on how to spec out the house in a way that would optimize equity creation (I.e. what upgrades add to the valuation and which do not).3) He was very helpful in counseling me through getting to the right offer to close the deal at a valuation that made sense.4) He is super responsive, professional and a pleasure to work with. Addie Bartlett has been working with me since May 2021 to find a condo in the Sandy Springs area. She was very patient with me as I had not yet sold my home. My experience with the Brown Daniel group and most notably my agent Aziz Izmour made 2020 turn out to be a phenomenal year. I never thought I would buy and sell a home during a global pandemic, but the option of listing the home vacant certainly made me feel the most comfortable.
