You don’t need to travel to Dublin, Boston or even Savannah to find a jubilant St. Patrick’s Day celebration!  Whether you are looking for a traditional Irish party, a family-friendly parade, or a way to earn your green beer with a little exercise, Atlanta has you covered with a St. Patrick’s Day event for everyone. After all, “there are only two kinds of people in the world – those who are Irish, and those who wish they were!”



Atlanta St. Patrick's Day ParadeDid you know that Atlanta’s St. Patrick’s Day parade dates back to 1858, making it one of the country’s oldest St. Patrick’s Day celebrations? This family-friendly event features clowns, floats, bands, bagpipe and drum corps, drill teams, and much more! Beginning at the Woodruff Arts Center, the parade runs south on Peachtree Street through Midtown, ending at 4th Street, just north of the Fabulous Fox Theatre.

Ri Ra's Paddyfest 2019Billed as Atlanta’s biggest St. Patrick’s Day block party, the inaugural RÍ RÁ Paddyfest will feature live music, authentic Irish food and Irish dancing. The party gets started early on Saturday, with an 8:30am viewing of the Six Nations Rugby Championship. After the game, head outside where the block party kicks off at 11am and goes late into the night with live music rocking the streets of Crescent and Peachtree.

The party continues on St. Patrick’s Day Sunday, with live music from Ireland’s own Porterhouse! Enjoy performances from the Drake School of Irish Dance throughout the day and DJ DRTI will be spinning all your favorite tunes!

Junior League of Atlanta Shamrock 'n Roll Road Race For the 15th year in a row, the Junior League of Atlanta presents the Shamrock ‘N Roll Road Race at Atlantic Station! Run in the chip timed 5k or 10k, where medals will be given out to the top 3 finishers in each age group, or join the littlest runners in the 1k Kids Fun Run.

Limerick Junction's 30th Annual St. Patrick's Day FestivalFor a truly authentic Irish celebration, Limerick Junction, Atlanta’s oldest Irish pub, will be hosting their 30th annual St. Patrick’s Day Festival! The pub opens at noon on Sunday, March 17th and event gates open at 2pm. This family friendly event features Irish food and drink, and live bands performing Irish music, along with face painting and balloon animals for the kiddies!

St. Patrick's Day at Pontoon Brewing in Sandy SpringsHead out to Sandy Springs for a St. Patrick’s Day block party at Pontoon Brewing. Green beer will be flowing and food trucks will be on site, along with live music, games and St. Paddy’s party favors. The brewery is releasing several special beers for this event, such as their Missed the Boat IPA brewed with Lucky Charms cereal and their Hooch Bier Blonde which will be dyed green for the celebration!   This event is kid and dog friendly!
