10/17-10/19/14 – Stone Mountain Scottish Festival and Highland Games
If you don’t plan to travel to Scotland this fall, why not check out the Scottish Festival at Stone Mountain Park!? Complete with traditional Scottish music, Highland Games events and even a Whiskey class and tasting for 21+ guests, this festival is one that you will make a fall tradition. 10/18/14 – Little 5 Points Halloween Festival
Totally different than the festival above, the Little 5 Points Halloween Festival is not for the faint at heart! Just when you thought that you have seen it all in this quirky district, think again! This festival boasts a parade and two stages of live entertainment that spans the entire day! If you get down there early enough, a place on one of the patios at a neighborhood restaurant or bar might be the optimal spot for people watching.

Originally started as a simple chili cookoff, this Festival boasts a 5-k as well that sells out way before race time, every year. The event has 4 music stages and tons of activities geared just for the little ones. Don’t take your dog though – festival management will make you go home!

11/8 – Decatur Wine Festival
Hop on Marta or take Uber to the Decatur Wine Festival. With over 350 wines to sample and some of Decatur’s best restaurants serving up some amazing food, the Decatur Square is transformed for this festival. Grab your friends  and buy your tickets early, because this event sells out quickly.
